Frequently Asked Questions

What is Liftzen?

Liftzen is an all-in-one gym management platform: member management, class scheduling, biometric attendance, billing with GST invoices, personal training, workout and diet plans, marketing automation and reports, in one dashboard for gym owners, trainers and staff.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every signup starts with a free trial of the Starter plan, no credit card required. You can add your gym, plans, trainers and members and be running the same day.

Which gyms is Liftzen built for?

Independent gyms, multi-branch fitness chains, boutique studios, yoga studios and personal-training businesses. The Starter plan covers gyms up to 200 members, Professional up to 500, and Business is built for 500+ members and chains.

Does Liftzen handle GST billing?

Yes. Liftzen generates GST-compliant invoices, supports partial and full payments, offers and discounts, and keeps a clean payment history per member, built for Indian gyms.

Can members check in with biometrics?

Yes. Liftzen integrates with fingerprint and face biometric devices for fast, fraud-proof check-ins, with live occupancy views. QR/manual check-in works as a fallback.

Does Liftzen support multiple branches?

Yes. Branches are first-class: staff, members, plans, classes and reports can be scoped per branch, with a consolidated view for owners. Multi-branch support is included in the plans that allow more than one branch.

Can trainers manage their own clients?

Yes. Trainers get their own dashboard with their schedule, assigned members, PT sessions, workout and diet plans, and per-client progress, while owners keep full oversight.

How does Liftzen help with marketing?

Liftzen includes a lead pipeline, WhatsApp and SMS campaigns, automation rules (for example, win-back for lapsed members) and scheduled reports, so follow-ups happen without manual effort.

Can I migrate from spreadsheets or another software?

Yes. Members can be imported in bulk, and plans, trainers and classes can be set up in minutes with guided onboarding. Start a trial and the team will help with the move.

Do I need any hardware to get started?

No. Liftzen runs entirely in the browser on any device, front desk, phone or laptop. Biometric devices are optional and can be added later on plans that include the module.

How much does Liftzen cost?

Liftzen has three plans sized by member count: Starter for gyms up to 200 members, Professional for up to 500 members, and Business for 500+ members and chains, which adds the Biometric and Marketing modules. Every signup starts with a free trial of the Starter plan, no credit card required. See the pricing page for current monthly prices.

Which plan does the free trial use?

Trial signups always start on the Starter plan, which covers up to 200 members, so you get the full core product during the trial. Professional and Business are paid from day one. You can upgrade to either whenever you grow, and your data carries over unchanged.

Does Liftzen support partial payments with GST invoices?

Yes. Members can pay in parts across plans, and every payment, partial or full, is recorded against the member with GST invoices generated automatically. Offers and discounts apply at checkout, and the per-member payment history keeps the end-of-day tally matching what actually came in.

How long does it take to move from spreadsheets to Liftzen?

Most gyms are running the same day they sign up. Bulk member import brings your existing list in at once, and guided setup walks you through plans, trainers, branches and classes step by step. There is nothing to install, so the switch is a data move, not an IT project.

Can staff be restricted to their own branch?

Yes. Staff logins, members, plans, classes and reports are scoped per branch, so a branch manager only sees their own branch. Owners get a consolidated view across every location, with chain-wide revenue and attendance reports.

Can my team use Liftzen on their own devices?

Yes. Liftzen runs entirely in a web browser, so staff can log in from the front-desk computer, their phones or a laptop, with role permissions controlling what each person sees. Biometric devices are optional and only needed where you want fingerprint or face check-ins.
